Residents of Phangwa Village in Nkhotakota were left stunned after a mysterious kadzidzi (owl) was found inside a house — carrying two letters addressed to a married woman.
According to reports, the letters were from an unknown man asking the woman to leave her husband, Thom, and go with him. One note reportedly read: “Undipatse mwamuna wanga,” while another said: “Iwe Thom, nabwera ine tiye tizipita – ntchitoyi tikugwilira limodzi.” 😳
Police were called after chaos broke out in the area, and officers managed to capture the owl — along with the letters.
Nkhotakota Police spokesperson Paul Malimwe said the matter is still under investigation.
