The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced a change to the opening date for the 2025/26 academic year.
According to a statement, schools will now open on 15 September 2025 instead of the earlier announced 22 September 2025.
The adjustment, the ministry explained, has been made to allow students who registered for the upcoming general elections while at school to take part in the voting process.
