Chisomo Mbengo wants a second chance at school

Chisomo Mbengo, a pharmacy student from Malawi, faced an unexpected setback when he was withdrawn from his final year. Despite this challenge, his determination to complete his education remained unstoppable.

Recently, Chisomo secured admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy program at Eden University in Lusaka, Zambia – which we have seen.

This opportunity allows him to complete his degree within two years, bringing him closer to his dream of becoming a pharmacist. While a generous sponsor has committed to covering his school fees and transportation costs, Chisomo still needs assistance with essential living expenses, including:

  • Accommodation: On-campus housing at Eden University costs approximately K1,550 per term or K3,250 per semester (Zambian Kwacha, of course).
  • Meals: Regular access to the university cafeteria is crucial for his well-being.
  • Daily Necessities: Funds for personal items, study materials, and other essentials to support his academic journey.

Chisomo’s classes are set to commence on July 7, 2025, leaving a limited window to secure the remaining support he needs.

If you are in a position to help Chisomo, whether through one-time contributions or ongoing support, your assistance would make a significant difference in his life. For more information or to offer support, please contact:
