Police in Mzuzu have arrested two Mzuni students identified as James Dulamoyo and Owen Mkulichi, suspected of stealing over K4 million from Chisanga Complex Center.

According to an article by Times 360 Malawi, Cecilia Mfune, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Mzuzu Police, says the two allegedly used fake bank transactions to buy food and drinks worth K350,000 on July 2.

It is further alleged that between May and July 2025, the suspects used the same fraudulent scheme to siphon funds, which the business owner only discovered during a bank visitβ€”finding K4 million missing.

Both suspects have reportedly confessed to the crime and are expected to appear in court soon.
