Humanitarian and founder of You Are Not Alone (YANA), Tusaiwe Yana, says she was surprised with a car from her office as a birthday gift — all thanks to money raised by friends and well-wishers.
In a post on social media, Tusaiwe shared pictures of her new ride, saying she was “humbled” by the thoughtful gesture.
“The office surprised me with this beautiful gift bought from birthday contributions. Thank you to everyone who gave,” she wrote.
Tusaiwe, who is known for her work with vulnerable children through her YANA Foundation, has built a reputation for putting others first — and it looks like this time, people gave back.
She didn’t reveal how much was raised or what kind of car it is, but said the gift meant a lot to her.
