Tay Grin has revealed that his home was destroyed by fire last night, leaving him with significant losses. However, he assured fans that he is safe and unharmed.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Tay Grin described the terrifying experience, reflecting on how close he was to being caught in the flames.
“Yesterday, a fire broke out at home, reducing my room to ashes. I stood there in shock, feeling more helpless than ever as the flames consumed personal belongings and cherished memories. I had spent the entire day resting in that very room, recovering from the traveling of the past few weeks. The thought haunts me; what if I hadn’t stepped out just minutes before the fire started? I could have been deep asleep, unaware of the danger. Though I’ve lost so much, I am profoundly grateful for the gift of life. I thought I should let everyone know that I am ok 🙏🏿,” he shared.
The cause of the fire remains unclear, and Tay Grin has not yet disclosed whether investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, the rapper has since told Times 360 Malawi that the property lost is valued at over K50 million.
