Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa says he has managed to raise K400,000 in Lilongwe as part of his mission to collect the K10 million nomination fee required to contest in the upcoming elections.
He remains K9.6 million short but plans to continue his nationwide fundraising tour. In 2019, Chikomeni failed to contest after struggling to pay the then K2 million fee, which has now increased to K10 million.
