Ras Chikomeni Granted Permission for Fundraising Parade in Lilongwe

Lilongwe City Council has officially blessed musician Ras Chikomeni Chirwa’s hustle by allowing him to hold a fundraising parade on March 11 in the capital. The mission? Raise that nomination fee money so he can get run for president.

A letter from City Boss Macloud Kadam’manja confirms that Ras Chikomeni, who recently dropped a song titled Rastaman Wiza, is good to go—as long as he behaves. The council has made it clear: no party colors, no funny business, and he better link up with the police for security. Basically, he can march, but he can’t wild out.

Now the big question is: Will Malawi’s favorite reggae-loving politician get the coins he needs? Or will he end up with more “Jah Bless” than actual cash? Stay tuned!
