Prophet Arrested in Jenda Over Fake ‘Satanic Box’ Scam

Police in Mzimba have arrested a self-proclaimed prophet, Isaac Mkandawire, along with his follower, Eunice Soko, for allegedly deceiving people and causing public disorder with a staged supernatural scam.

According reports, the two suspects brought a mysterious coffin to Zatuwa Zimba Village and convinced villagers that it was possessed by satanic spirits. They claimed that special prayers were needed to remove it but at a cost of K350,000.

The scam started to unravel when an unsuspecting villager woke up to find the small box outside his house. As word spread, a crowd gathered in shock. That’s when Mkandawire dramatically appeared, declaring that only his divine intervention could stop the deadly winds of Satanic from harming the village – for a small fee, of course.

However, suspicion quickly grew, and villagers called the police. Officers arrested Mkandawire and Soko, who now face charges of fraud and public deception.

It turns out, the only real miracle here was how they thought they’d get away with it!
