Police in Chiradzulu have reportedly arrested a man, Dyson Makawa, on suspicion that he caused the death of his estranged wife, Zione John, following a domestic disagreement.
According to a report by Zodiak, police spokesperson Cosmas Kagulo says the two reportedly met at Makiliyere Market on May 17, where an argument broke out. Makawa allegedly assaulted Zione after she refused to reconcile with him.
Zione was taken to Zomba Central Hospital unconscious and later died from head injuries sustained during the attack.
