Jetu’s hit song Chakwaza made it into a DSTV ad, but here’s the catch—her management says they never gave permission, and there’s been no payment either.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting—MultiChoice Malawi says they have no idea how the song ended up in the ad currently airing in South Africa. According to Zodiak, the company has distanced itself from the situation, claiming zero involvement in the making of the ad.
Jetu, on the other hand, took to Facebook to confirm that the matter is now in the hands of COSOMA. But, interestingly – COSOMA told Zodiak that they had not received an official complaint yet, as Jetu’s manager, Emu Dee, only reached to them by word of mouth.
