Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has filed a lawsuit against the woman who previously accused him of rape and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, over what he calls false allegations that damaged his reputation.
The case dates back to last year when a 37-year-old woman claimed that Jay-Z assaulted her when she was only 13 years old and demanded compensation. However, Jay-Z firmly denied the allegations, stating, a rape is a serious accusation.
Despite filing the lawsuit, the woman allegedly refused to reveal her identity in court, leading to the case being dismissed. Now, Jay-Z is taking legal action against her for defamation, arguing that the false claims tarnished his public image.
It seems the tables have turned, and this time, it’s Jay-Z who wants justice served.
