The government has instructed Egenco Chief Executive Officer Maxon Chitawo to return to his former post as a lecturer at Mzuzu University’s Faculty of Engineering.
Confirming the development, Chitawo said he received the official letter today, directing him to hand over his duties to senior company official Shadric Tchado.
Chitawo, who replaced former CEO William Liabunya after his contract expired, had served as a lecturer at Mzuzu University for nearly 19 years before joining Egenco.
