Sheli Banana hitmaker Emmie Deebo is collecting award nominations like infinity stones! The rising star has just secured 4 nominations at the 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (AAEA).
She’s in the race for Best New Female Artist, Best Collabo by New Act, Best Music Video by New Act, and Best Hit Single by New Act.
This comes after she scooped Best Female Secular Artist at the 2024 Entertainers of the Year (EOY) Awards.
The AAEA awards ceremony will be held on March 30 in Nairobi, Kenya, and that’s not all—Emmie has also scored two nominations at the Young Achievers Africa Awards 2025, happening next month in Rwanda.
And just to keep fans well-fed, she’s also dropped a brand-new single, Mtima. So, with new music and nominations pouring in, is 2025 officially the Year of Emmie? Time will tell!
