Three weeks after being promoted as a life-changing opportunity for Malawians, the AMC Online Jobs platform has mysteriously disappeared from all digital platforms, leaving many job seekers frustrated and concerned.
The platform, which was featured in a televised event on 23 July 2025, promised income-generating opportunities, real success stories, and prizes to attract aspiring online workers across the country. Its sudden disappearance has raised questions about the legitimacy of the initiative — a possible scam?
AMC gained nationwide attention through various media promotions, including coverage by Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) and endorsements from popular content creators such as Tamia Ja. However, the absence of any official explanation from AMC has only deepened public suspicion.
Social media commentator Morton Baghaya criticized both media outlets and influencers for failing to fact-check before promoting opportunities, warning that such negligence risks misleading vulnerable job seekers.
As of now, neither AMC nor its promotional partners have issued a statement addressing the platform’s sudden online blackout.
