South African duo Thukuthela and Jazzworx have made history by breaking Kabza De Small’s record for the most No.1 songs in a single year on Spotify South Africa.
Kabza set the bar back in 2021 with four hits — Adiwele, Banyana, Asibe Happy, and Abalele. But in 2025, Thukuthela and Jazzworx have raised the stakes with five No.1 tracks: Vuka, Isaka (6am), Uzizwa Kanjan, Bengicela, and Uvalo.
What makes it crazier? They pulled this off with four months still left in the year. Meaning, they could stretch the record even further before 2025 ends.
This milestone officially makes them the first South African artists in Spotify history to earn five chart-toppers in a single year.
