Miss Heritage Malawi is back, and 10 contestants are set to snatch the crown at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre on April 5.
According to an article by The Daily Times, the pageant’s Chief Executive Officer and National Director, Matilda Yusuf revealed that the selection process wasn’t child’s play for the 10s.
“We had 46 hopefuls, but only 10 made the cut. We weren’t just looking for pretty faces—we needed queens who know their roots, can represent Malawi like bosses, and, of course, have that heritage swag.”
